The more I think about it the more this seems in favour of the NaPoVoInterCo. Think about it, if party A wins the overall vote then states that party B won in send people to vote for A, faithless electors could supersede this and just vote for B anyway. With a "You must vote the way your state says law" they have to go along with it whether they like it or not. So maybe yay weird system gets weirder but more fair?

They are not called faithless. This system is in place because of criminal activity. Our forefathers predicted that there would be voter fraud. Right now in 2020 we have a total of 7 states that sent dueling electors. But AZ was flipped red because of all the voter fraud. They are not counting NM dueling elector because ?? Meanwhile voter fraud on a massive scale with evidence was found in GA, PA, WI, MI, and NV. If we did away with the electoral college the only states with the most people would count to elect our President. Our forefathers were very intelligent and did not have a TV to distract them from their resolve to come up with a plan for a fair election.

To avoid destabilizing tainting of future regimes, well established county borders should be used to remove doubts regarding the Nov-3-run to be compared with a clean general runoff. No time? WRONG. Is this what young people are being taught in school? This video is about 50% accurate. 1. There are 33 states, including the District of Columbia, that have laws against faithless electors; 2. 17 of those states, including DC, have no mechanism in place to punish faithless electors; 3. 13 States have laws that permit fines and make it a crime to be a faithless elector; 4. 3 states void the vote cast by the faithless elector and permits the party to replace that individual. 5. The Supreme Court in its recent decision only addressed the very narrow issue of whether or not states are permitted to fine or punish faithless electors. The Court said that laws enacted to fine or punish faithless electors is not unconstitutional; 6. The Court did not, however, address the Constitutionality of a state that voids the vote cast by the faithless elector and replaces that elector. 7. The Electoral College WAS NOT created due to barriers in communication. This is a myth created by those who oppose the Electoral College to create the illusion that it is no longer necessary. The EC was created specifically as a safety measure to prevent candidates from taking office who are not qualified in mind or body to hold office, unfit of character or who do not meet the necessary qualifications to hold office such as citizenship, age etc. So, in other words, if a candidate wins an election by cheating, the remedy for that malfeasance rests with the Electoral College, not the Supreme Court. When I went through college and law school, The Federalist Papers and Anti Federalist papers were required reading. Apparently, this is no longer the case. However, college or no, there is no excuse for not knowing why and how our governmental institutions exist and work. Just imagine what a country this would be if the willfully ignorant masses spent the same amount of time filling their brains with facts and meaningful knowledge as they do the garbage that litters social media.

So I thinks its wrong to say that electoral votes are proportional ish to the population of a state. Official its equal to the number of people in congress that that state sends. So its proportion to population plus 2 thanks to the senate. Which makes sense. The amount of people a state gets to represent them in choosing the president is equal to the amount representing them in making federal laws.
